  This month&#8217\;s HPC Café is aimed at researchers with a backgrou
 nd in the humanities and social sciences who are curious about how hig
 h-performance computing (HPC) can support their work. The talk provide
 s an accessible introduction to what HPC is and why it matters beyond 
 the natural and engineering sciences. Through several practical scenar
 ios\, participants will learn how to use simple interfaces to run Pyth
 on and R code efficiently. The session will also explain how to get st
 arted and how to apply for access to HPC resources at FAU.
