PostDoc+ Research Grant
The PostDoc+ Research Grant is an innovative funding offer within the portfolio of the 2023-2027 target agreements. It provides one female scholar in the extended post-doc phase the opportunity to pursue independent research geared towards a proposal to apply for third-party funding.
The PostDoc+ Research Grant aims to:
- strengthen the research achievements of female scholars,
- increase the visibility of women’s research in the acquisition of external funding,
- improve the networking among female researchers,
- and to increase the chances for a professorship.
As part of the program, a qualified female junior researcher will be relieved from teaching and administrative duties for 6 months and funding for a substitute will be provided. The program also includes individual coaching on career planning (up to €2,000) as well as the possibility of applying for additional material resources/travel expenses (up to €1,000).
The PostDoc+ ResearchGrant funding program will be announced in 2024 and awarded in the winter semester 2/265. Detailed information will be published here in due time.
