Quality management

At FAU, a quality management system has been in place since 2009 to support the courses of studies in the process of continuous development and compliance with the various external requirements. Within the framework of this quality management system, the courses of the Accreditation Council, following the successful system accreditation of the FAU, while adhering to the relevant provisions of the Accreditation Council, the Conference of Ministers of Culture and the University Rector’s Conference (HRK).


When designing the quality management system, the FAU takes its character as a full university and places great emphasis on decentralized organization. The so called “4×4 model” interlinks the four levels (university, faculty, study course and module) with the four quality dimensions (quality policy and culture, structure quality, process quality and quality of results).
