The Office for Research Funding of the Faculty is a service point for all researchers in the humanities and social sciences and in particular for junior researchers. It informs about third-party funding and current tenders, and it offers advice on the handling of research applications and the conception of projects.

The International Office is the contact point at the Faculty for international matters in study, teaching and research. The office supports students, teachers and researchers
from Germany and abroad.

The Student Service Centre in Erlangen is the academic advisory service of the Faculty for students in Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes. Advice is given on formal, content-related and interdisciplinary questions, such as subject combinations, timetable development, key qualifications, GOP, transition from Bachelor to Master studies, change of programme as well as study-related problems that might occur. In addition, on Tuesdays and Thursdays advice is offered in the premises of the Student Service Centre concerning teacher training as well as career orientation.

In the student service center at the campus Nuremberg different advisors work alternately. In addition to offers of general study counseling, the Career Service, psychological counseling and the Office for Gender and Diversity, the university communities offer discussion and advice.

Über das Praktikumsamt werden die Praktika für Grund- und Mittelschullehramt geplant, organisiert und durchgeführt. Dies geschieht im Einvernehmen mit den Schulaufsichtsbehörden und den Praktikumsschulen.

Die Servicestelle vermittelt Lehramtsstudierenden, insbesondere an Grund- und Mittelschulen, Kontakt zu Partnerschulen in vielen europäischen und außereuropäischen Ländern. Darüber hinaus erhalten interessierte Studierende eine auf ihren Lehramtsstudiengang abgestimmte Beratung zum Auslandsstudium.

The Liaison Office BAföG of the Faculty is the contact point for all students who need a proof of achievement for the In- and / or Auslandsbafög. For questions and requests please use the consultation.

The e-learning coordinator was installed due to QuiS II (quality enhancement in teaching) “Digitalization of Teaching”. She gives advice to the study programmes and institutes of the Faculty seeking an expansion of their e-learning-units. In addition to that, she coordinates and bundles the single e-learning projects that exist in the Faculty.

The ARIADNEPhil Mentoring Programme promotes and accompanies young female researchers and doctoral candidates individually in their academic qualification phases. The individual contact between mentor and mentee is supplemented by a supporting programme consisting of seminars and networking events. Kontakt
