Our faculty welcomes students and guest scientists from all over the world. About 500 out of our 10,000 students are coming from abroad, and about 10% of our more than 600 scientists are internationals. Ten out of 90 are international degree programmes on Bachelor, Master and teaching degree level, seven of which are completely of partly taught in English, with a total of more than 400 students from abroad. Our chairs and professorships maintain diverse international contacts in form of joint publications, conferences and research projects.
The Erlangen and Nuremberg region offers a particularly high quality of life. Numerous regional, interregional and international companies and organisations are open to our students in order to gain additional experience through internships and work.
The international office of the faculty helps our students and scientists to realise a stay abroad for the purpose of studying, internship, or a research project, and to establish further international contacts.
