Faculty Day for International Students – 9 October 2025
Make connections right from the start and get all essential information! On 9 October 2025, the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Theology invites its new international students to Faculty Day – a welcome event full of practical information, networking opportunities, and insights into life at the Faculty
The Vice Dean for International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Lutz Edzard, together with the Faculty’s International Office, will welcome international students with an informative and engaging program running from 2-7 P.M. in Hörsaal C, Kochstr. 4. The event aims to give our new members a warm welcome, provide an overview of the Faculty’s structures and services, and create a platform for exchange and networking.
The program offers both practical information and opportunities to get to know professors, staff, and fellow students. This will make it easier for international first-year students to get started at FAU and encourage them to actively participate in the academic life of the Faculty.
With Faculty Day, the Faculty sends a clear message: international perspectives enrich research, teaching, and campus life – and are an indispensable part of the diversity that defines the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Theology.
