Get all essential information, meet new people, and make connections right from the start! On 9 April 2026, the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Theology invites its new international students to Faculty Day – a welcome event full of practical information, networking opportunities, and insights into life at the Faculty.
The Vice Dean for International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Lutz Edzard, together with the Faculty’s International Office, will welcome international students with an informative and engaging program running from 2-7 PM in lecture hall Großer Hörsaal, Bismarckstraße 1a in Erlangen. The event aims to give our new members a warm welcome, provide an overview of the Faculty’s structures and services, and create a platform for exchange and networking.
The program offers both practical information and opportunities to get to know professors, staff, and fellow students. This will make it easier for international first-year students to get started at FAU and encourage them to actively participate in the academic life at the Faculty.
With this event we are sending a clear message: international perspectives enrich research, teaching, and campus life – and are an indispensable part of the diversity that defines the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Theology.
