Online teaching and individual face-to-face classes will be combined (hybrid semester)

The beginning of student life is an exciting time, but this new chapter can also be challenging. Facing the Corona pandemic the start of the winter term 2020/21 will be different, but FAU and the Faculty provide assistance to help students to cope with the hybrid semester.

Information and introductory events for new students at FAU (bachelor and master degree) are given here.

As far as legal provisions and regulations aimed at preventing infection allow, face-to-face classes will be offered in addition to online teaching during the lecture period from 2 November 2020 to 12 Febuary 2021. The decision as to whether face-to-face teaching can be offered and for whom is taken by the individual degree programmes. Therefore, detailed information will be available on the websites of the degree programmes, disciplines and institutes.

All courses are listed in the course catalogue on UnivIS (information system of FAU). Notes whether the class will take place online or on campus will be continuously updated:
