The Institute of Pre- and Early History (Institut für Ur- und Frühgeschichte, UFG) has expanded its Virtual Collection: From now on, visitors can not only visit one room, but are guided into the various showrooms from a new entrance room. The highlight is the new rooftop lounge: a virtual lift takes visitors up to the ‘roof’ of the building in Kochstraße where they can view the 3D models of the house- and face urns from the collection of Pre- and Early History, paired with a spectacular view. Information boards provide details about the Prehistoric Collection and clicking on the individual exhibits provides interested visitors with explanatory videos.
